Support the Senior Director (Audio) with financial and operational work, freeing leadership to focus on business development and strategic priorities.

Own and improve the monthly management accounting close process, working alongside finance and operational colleagues to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Act as the primary owner of Sidekick (our internal audio system) within the business operations function, developing a deep understanding of how the audio business uses the system.

Identify deficiencies in Sidekick, translate them into clear requirements, and work closely with IT and technology colleagues to drive improvements — whether through system development or process change.

Establish and run regular processes to ensure Sidekick data is consistently updated and reliable.

Track expected vs actual gross margin ($ and %) at a project level, highlighting variances and risks.

Ensure Accounting teams have timely and accurate information to record cost accruals each month.

Coordinate operational activities across multiple international studios, ensuring alignment on priorities, timelines, and performance targets.

Own and support business performance tracking (revenue, KPIs, forecasting) across the portfolio.

Lead initiatives to improve and scale operational processes, tools, and ways of working.

Act as a key liaison and business partner to studio and operational teams, improving communication and execution.

Support or lead planning cycles (e.g. forecasts, capacity planning) within Sidekick.

Design and deliver dashboards and reporting to provide clear business visibility (e.g. using Power BI).

Work with studios to align audio production, services, and operational priorities.

Key Relationships:

  • Finance teams, including: Shared Service team in India (vendor payments and customer billing), Accounting teams (ensuring accurate inter-company invoicing between studios and cost accruals), FP&A teams (monitoring performance, forecasting, and margin delivery).
  • IT teams (for Sidekick enhancements, fixes, and prioritisation of improvements).
  • Studio leadership and production teams.
  • Central Product, Marketing, and Finance stakeholders.

Experience:

  • 4–8+ years' experience in roles such as business operations, finance operations, project management, business analysis, or process improvement.
  • Numerate and comfortable working with spreadsheets and financial data; a qualified accountant is not required, but a strong affinity for numbers is essential.
  • Experience working closely with operational colleagues and a genuine interest in understanding how a business works end-to-end.
  • Experience owning or managing internal tools, platforms, or systems (e.g. ERP, CRM, BI tools, bespoke operational systems).
  • Proven ability to identify process or system deficiencies and drive improvements — ideally with a background in business analysis or operational change.
  • Strong business partnering experience, supporting decision-making and performance delivery across multiple teams or regions.
  • Experience building dashboards and metrics; proficiency with Power BI or similar BI tools preferred.
  • Highly organised with strong project management and operational skills.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate technical issues for non-technical audiences and vice versa.
  • Background in gaming, digital entertainment, tech, or other relevant industries.

Desirable:

  • Experience in audio, games services, or external development/outsourcing models preferred.
  • Understanding of audio pipelines, localisation, VO, or external development workflows.
  • Experience working with distributed or international teams/studios.
  • Experience driving adoption of internal tools or platforms across organisations.
  • Exposure to live operations, monetisation, and lifecycle management.
  • Financial modelling and forecasting experience.
