Key Responsibilities
Lead the delivery of multiple tender submissions from start to finish, creating clear, compelling and persuasive responses that stand out from the competition Produce high-quality, tailored bid content that directly addresses customer requirements and is delivered on time, every time Collaborate with operational experts to gather service information and transform it into engaging, evidence-based content that showcases the strengths and impact of our services Build strong relationships across the organisation, working closely with managers, service specialists and key stakeholders to drive successful tender outcomes Coordinate and manage tender projects, ensuring deadlines are met, actions are completed, and opportunities progress smoothly Review, edit and quality assure submissions, producing polished, coherent responses that fully address client requirements within specified word limits Monitor and report on tender activity, supporting continuous improvement and sharing progress with the wider team Support contract management and performance reporting, helping ensure commitments are effectively tracked and delivered Play a key role in business growth, contributing to the successful acquisition and retention of contracts across the Polaris Community Skills You'll Need Proven experience creating clear, compelling written content, ideally within tender, bid or report writing Exceptional written English, with outstanding attention to detail, accuracy and quality Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, with the ability to produce polished, professional documents A confident communicator who can build strong relationships and collaborate effectively with stakeholders at all levels Highly organised and deadline-driven, with a track record of delivering high-quality work on time Self-motivated and proactive, able to work independently while thriving as part of a team Calm under pressure, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Committed to equality, diversity and inclusion in everything you do Eager to learn and take ownership, using initiative while knowing when to seek support and guidance You'll excel in this role if you're a strong writer, a natural organiser, and someone who enjoys turning ideas, information and collaboration into successful outcomes.
