Role Responsibilities
- Responsible for the planning and delivery of high-quality lessons within the National Curriculum while meeting the complex SEMH needs of all pupils
- Support the class team in facilitating learning opportunities and promoting positive behaviour
- Report on pupils' progress and concerns, liaising with other school staff to ensure pupils' needs are met
- Supervise pupils during times outside lessons, including extra-curricular activities and school trips
- Build positive relationships with pupils and encourage engagement and positive learning outcomes
Qualifications
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Educated to degree level
- Previous successful teaching experience
- Previous experience of working with pupils with SEMH within an educational setting
- Experience of behaviour-management strategies and techniques
- A commitment to professional development and willingness to learn

The successful candidate will be required to complete an enhanced DBS check, the cost of which will be met by Polaris Education.
