Your Role

As an SEN Class Teacher, you will lead a small, bespoke class of up to 6 pupils, supported by a dedicated Teaching Assistant. Your mission will be to create engaging and inclusive lessons that cater to a wide range of abilities. Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Inspiring pupils through enthusiastic and imaginative lesson presentations
  • Collaborating with colleagues, parents, and professionals to uphold high educational standards
  • Monitoring and assessing pupil progress, providing regular feedback
  • Utilizing diverse teaching strategies and resources to enhance engagement
  • Creating and maintaining a safe, stimulating learning environment
  • Adhering to school policies and procedures in line with our core values

What We’re Looking For

  • Qualified Teacher Status or equivalent
  • Proven experience in SEN teaching
  • Strong knowledge of the National Curriculum
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine commitment to every pupil's success

Please note that the successful candidate will need to complete an enhanced DBS check, which will be covered by Polaris Community.
