Overview
Depot Connect International is the leading independent UK service provider for tank transport and depot services. We operate over 80 modern tractor units and employ circa 300 people within a network of eight depots. Current job opportunities are posted here as they become available.

The Role
We are looking for LGV Drivers (Class 1 ADR) to join our team based in our UK depots (Manchester, Redcar, Hull, Immingham, Bridgwater, Barry, Southampton, West Thurrock). This role may require you to night out (Tramping).
We have shift patterns available on either a Monday to Friday basis or a four on four off basis.
Full training will be provided.
Pay and Benefits
- Basic Rate: £13.40 per hour. Monday to Friday, 8.5 hours per day available (assuming driver available for 8.5 hours per day)
- Overtime Rate 1: £15.63 per hour. Payable after 8.5 hours per day and after meal breaks (Mon – Fri)
- Overtime Rate 2: Saturday £15.63 per hour for all hours worked up to 8 hours. If more than 8 hours worked, all Saturday hours paid at Overtime Rate 3, £17.10 per hour
- Overtime Rate 3: £17.36 per hour for all hours worked on Sunday. (Note: can also apply to all Saturday hours if more than 8 hours worked.)
- Bank Holidays: £17.36 per hour for time worked, guarantee, 12 hours, plus a day off in lieu paid at £112.20 per day. All statutory holidays are paid at this rate.
- Night Out Allowance: £26.50 per night. (The first £26.20 is non-taxable; £0.30 is taxable).
- Meal Break: Each day Monday to Friday the 45 minute statutory break from driving is paid at £13.20 per hour. The break is to be taken wherever legally possible.
- Holidays: 20 earned holidays plus 8 bank holidays, increasing by 1 day with each full year of service up to a maximum of 24 days. Paid at the rates discussed in the relevant sections. Holiday year runs from 1 Jan to 31 Dec.
Qualifications
- An LGV Class 1 licence with no more than six points
- A tachograph card
- A Driver CPC (Certificate of Professional Competence)
- A valid ADR licence (all classes) – preferred but funding available for successful candidates without an ADR licence
- A strong understanding of Driver Transport Legislation
- A safety focus
- Minimum 1 year Class 1 experience is desired but not essential
- Tanker experience preferred (training is provided with terms and conditions)
