The Opportunity
This is a hands-on, high-exposure role for someone early in their career who wants to learn how modern agencies actually grow. You’ll work day to day alongside the Founder, sitting with them in the office, with direct access to Polar London’s senior leadership and extended global team. You’ll help build and run Polar’s revenue engine — spanning outbound, content-led marketing, partnerships, events, and audience building. This isn’t a passive marketing role or a scripted sales job. It’s about creating momentum, starting conversations, and turning attention into real commercial opportunities. If you’re hungry, confident, people-focused, and curious about how growth really works — this role will stretch you fast.
Your Mission
Your goal is simple: Fill Polar’s pipeline with 10–12 qualified opportunities per quarter through smart outbound campaigns, content-led marketing, partnerships, events, and audience building. You’ll be supported with target-driven bonus incentives, aligned to clear commercial outcomes. We care about results, not busywork.
What You’ll Be Responsible For
- You will help build and run Polar’s outbound engine.
Targets & outcomes
- Quarterly: 10–12 qualified opportunities progressed to discovery / proposal stage
- A live, prioritised pipeline of target accounts aligned to Polar’s ICP
What you’ll do
- Build and maintain a list of priority accounts (Founders, CMOs, Heads of Digital, PE/VC-backed teams)
- Run weekly outbound activity across:
- Cold email
- Warm LinkedIn DMs
- Content-led follow-ups
- Connection requests
This role goes beyond posting content — you’ll help engineer demand.
Outcomes
- Increased inbound conversations from ICP-level contacts
- Growth in newsletter subscribers and content engagement
What you’ll do
- Help create and distribute content designed to attract decision-makers:
- Case study breakdowns
- CX insights and POVs
- Cred deck snippets and proof points
- Top of funnel: awareness and insight
- Middle of funnel: proof and credibility
- Bottom of funnel: conversion-focused assets
3. Qualify, Nurture & Convert Opportunities
You’ll help ensure no opportunity goes cold.
Outcomes
- Faster, smarter responses to inbound leads
What you’ll do
- Support first responses to inbound enquiries
- Maintain and update creds decks and short “Why Polar” pitch materials
- Own and evolve audience email nurture campaigns
- Help run follow-up and nurture flows using Mailchimp and Pipedrive
- Support proposal prep and post-call follow-ups with value-led content
4. Events & Partnerships (Visibility That Converts)
Events and partnerships are a core growth lever at Polar.
Outcomes
- 2–4 relevant events, panels, podcasts, or meetups per quarter
- New strategic relationships with non-competing partners
What you’ll do
- Attend industry events with the Founder and core team to help promote Polar and build relationships
- Research and secure speaking, podcast, and event opportunities
- Support small-format events (roundtables, breakfasts, webinars)
- Help identify and activate partnerships with complementary SaaS, CX, or design businesses
5. Measure What Matters
You’ll help keep growth visible and accountable.
Core metrics you’ll track
- Warm leads generated
- Engagement from ICP-level contacts
You’ll help maintain a simple dashboard (Notion and/or Pipedrive) that keeps everything honest.
What Success Looks Like (First 6–9 Months)
- 10–12 qualified opportunities per quarter
- 1 new client per quarter influenced or sourced
- Consistent growth in newsletter subscribers and LinkedIn engagement
- 1–2 meaningful partnerships or collaborations live
Who This Role Is For
We’re looking for potential, not polish. In your second role, ideally with 1–2 years’ experience in a commercial, agency, marketing, sales, events, or people-facing environment.
You are:
- Confident, outgoing, and comfortable starting conversations
- Curious and eager to learn
- Process-driven but creative in how you engage people
- Resilient — outreach doesn’t scare you
- Organised, accountable, and commercially minded
- AI - Digital native
- Keen interest in new Tech & Social platforms
- Experience in agencies, startups, or B2B environments is a bonus, not a requirement.
Salary & Incentives
Bonus incentives: target-driven, linked to meetings booked, pipeline contribution, and commercial outcomes. Clear review and progression as the business grows.
