Overview

PokerStars has been delivering multi-channel, best in class content for 20+ years and as such has built an extensive archive of everything from global live poker tournament footage and AFPs to campaign assets and photography. Demand for quick access to this media is high, so we need a super organised, detail-orientated Media Librarian to help build the future of our library system and manage it from ingest through to archiving.

This role will sit at the heart of our post-production team within our technical department, ensuring that creative teams have access to the right media when they need it. This role follows a hybrid approach to working, allowing you to combine working from home with working in our modern offices. These discussions are between you and your manager to find the best pattern for you both, while recognising that quality time together is essential for keeping us mission-aligned.

What You’ll Do

  • Key responsibilities will include location DIT; media ingest and organisation in preparation for edit; archiving and restoration using LTO database; library management using DAM and fulfilling stakeholder asset requests.
  • Collate media assets in DAM for edit and wider access.
  • Location based DIT and media management responsibilities.
  • Monitor and liaise with internal and external producers and productions for requests.
  • Archive and restore video assets using LTO6 and LTO9 tape libraries.
  • Perform administrational duties such as metadata checks and delivery of assets to stakeholders via online platforms.
  • Library organisation using DAM including Avid Media Central.
  • Work with Head of Technical Operations to build a future-proof library system for all media.

What You’ll Bring

  • Background in media management within a library, information, or content-focused environment.
  • Experience working in a post-production environment.
  • Detailed knowledge of video and file formats.
  • Experience of DAM systems and LTO tape libraries.
  • Experience of current DIT practices.
  • Understanding of Look Up Tables (LUTS).
  • A problem-solver and logical thinker with a dogged attitude to improving process.
  • A team player with strong organisational skills and an ordered and thorough approach to work.
  • Willingness to travel abroad for on-location DIT.
  • Poker knowledge would be advantageous.
