Job Summary: We are looking for a talented Sr. Business Intelligence Analyst who will drive change in the European Marketing organisation through influence of analytics and data insight capabilities at The Pokémon Company International. This position will be primarily responsible for delivering against marketing analytics roadmaps and delivering recommendations, improving business processes, and aiding in driving marketing investment decisions through data. This role may include cross collaboration with US Marketing teams and European Marketing to ensure consistency and quality reporting and analysis. This role will function as an analytic SME to influence stakeholders and act as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights, support, and optimisation on marketing campaigns. In addition, this position will assist in influencing and growing data strategy and measurement optimisation across various initiatives and domains.

The ideal candidate must have excellent communication skills, be self-directed, collaborative, drive accountability, and have a keen ability to analyse data to identify and communicate patterns.

What you’ll do:

  • Own all parts of the analytics analysis from design, development, analysing, interpreting, and summarising data findings from marketing campaigns to European marketing stakeholders.
  • Identify valuable patterns and insights across European Marketing groups to drive impact on improvements for the organisation across different product lines.
  • Influence and drive data-driven decision-making on marketing investments and marketing strategy for the European marketing teams.
  • Collaborate across offices to build standard reporting, analytics, and data standards for the domains.
  • Drive recommendations and optimisation solutions for automating data collection on technology and data platforms and products.
  • Analyse data using statistics and other methodologies to solve business problems such as A/B testing recommendations.
  • Become an analytic SME for high value and high impact projects to represent BI interests.
  • Own and deliver the BI roadmap for each workstream.
  • Integrate relevant information and disparate data sources in developing analysis, insights, and recommendations.
  • Effectively scope, size, and plan the development of analytical solutions and set expectations accordingly.
  • Create dashboards and visualisations to track key performance indicators and effectively communicate trends.
  • Work with domain leadership to identify marketing goals, KPIs, and data strategy.
  • Provide support for marketing campaign launches from an analytics perspective.

What you’ll bring:

  • Eight (8) to eleven (11) years of relevant professional experience or a demonstrated equivalent level of expertise.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or a demonstrated equivalent level of applicable experience.
  • 4+ years or more providing analytics in the Marketing domain.
  • Experience with data visualisation through Looker, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Expert user of SQL for data analysis.
  • Excellent statistics background and ability to explain analytical methodologies simply and thoroughly.
  • Ability to work and communicate across multiple marketing teams and marketing domains.
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Adobe Analytics, or similar web analytics tools is a plus.
  • Experience with modern programming languages (Python, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus.
  • Experience in marketing optimisation methodologies like A/B testing is a plus.

Base Salary Range: For this role, new hires generally start between £75,000.00 - £88,350.00 per year. The full range is £75,000.00 - £111,000.00 per year. This range is applicable for the labour market where the role is intended to be hired. The final base salary is directly related to the candidate’s qualifications and professional experience uniquely.
