Role Overview We're looking for a Senior Account Manager to join the London team, owning our relationship with flagship enterprise accounts. This role owns strategic customer relationships and serves as a trusted advisor throughout the customer's journey with Pointr — partnering closely with customers and internal teams to drive adoption, demonstrate measurable value, support renewals, and identify opportunities for long-term growth. This is a highly collaborative role for someone who enjoys building executive relationships, solving complex customer challenges, and helping customers achieve meaningful business outcomes. Alongside owning existing strategic accounts, this role will also take ownership of new business opportunities generated through inbound interest across the EMEA region, qualifying and closing new customer relationships in addition to managing the existing portfolio.
What You'll Do
- Own a portfolio of enterprise customer accounts, building strong relationships and driving long-term success.
- Qualify, run, and close new business opportunities from inbound interest across the EMEA region, owning the full sales cycle from first contact through signature.
- Serve as the primary customer partner for adoption, value realization, renewals, and account growth.
- Develop account strategies that align customer goals with Pointr's solutions and capabilities.
- Build compelling value narratives by connecting product adoption and outcomes to business impact.
- Identify opportunities for expansion by understanding customer needs and introducing relevant products and capabilities.
- Lead executive business reviews and strategic account discussions with senior stakeholders.
- Proactively identify account risks and develop action plans to improve customer health.
- Coordinate cross-functional teams including Marketing, Pre-Sales, Project Management, Product, Analytics, and Finance to deliver exceptional customer experiences.
- Partner with internal stakeholders to ensure successful delivery and continued customer growth.
What Success Looks Like
- First 90 days: build genuine rapport with your accounts, and develop a clear understanding of their roadmaps and where Pointr fits into them.
- 6 months: measurably improved engagement on both accounts, the renewal secured, and expansion conversations underway.
- 12 months: fully embedded with your accounts: they're set up for growth, and the relationship runs smoothly without needing to be chased.
What We Seek
- 6–10+ years of experience in enterprise account management, customer success, partnerships, or enterprise sales within complex B2B environments.
- Experience managing strategic enterprise accounts within SaaS, technology, or platform-based businesses.
- Comfortable owning new-business sales — qualifying inbound leads, running a full sales process, and closing new logos — alongside managing an existing account portfolio.
- Proven ability to build trusted relationships with multiple stakeholders, including executive-level customers.
- Experience supporting renewals, expansions, and customer growth initiatives.
- Strong understanding of customer value, commercial outcomes, and account strategy.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively across technical, commercial, and operational teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Professional fluency in English, both written and verbal.
- Right to work in the UK, or eligibility to obtain it, without company sponsorship.
- Willingness to travel up to approximately 20% of the time for customer meetings, QBRs, and events across the EMEA region.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in enterprise SaaS, location technology, events, hospitality, or venue technology.
- Experience managing complex customer implementations or multi-team delivery environments.
- Familiarity with CRM, customer success, and project management platforms such as Monday or Jira.
- Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience.
What We Offer
- A supportive, kind (no-ego), and smart team.
- International environment and inclusive culture.
- Competitive base salary, EMI stock options, and uncapped renewal commission.
- Private medical and dental insurance.
- Workplace pension with an employer contribution above the statutory minimum.
- 20 days' annual leave plus UK bank holidays (28 days total), and company sick pay.
- Company-enhanced maternity, paternity, and shared parental leave.
Compensation Base salary: £72,000–£88,000, based on experience and market, plus uncapped renewal commission with an on-target value of £18,000–£32,000 (total on-target earnings £92,000–£120,000). Where a candidate falls in the range depends on directly relevant enterprise account management experience and the complexity of accounts previously managed.
