The Point72 Compliance department is an industry-leading team of compliance professionals who support global investment and trading activities by establishing and enforcing the firm’s compliance policies, providing real-time advice, and conducting pre- and post-trade surveillance. What you’ll do:
- Help enforce our compliance monitoring programs including conducting trade monitoring and due diligence review.
- Provide proactive and timely advice on relevant regulatory and firm policy requirements as needed.
- Provide real-time support with respect to trading restrictions, monitoring and approvals.
- Manage ongoing regulatory and MiFID II obligations, including SMCR and transaction reporting.
- Deliver periodic compliance training to employees.
- Monitor regulatory changes and help improve and refine the firm’s policies and procedures.
- Support adherence to the firm’s Code of Ethics policies.
- Assist with position monitoring and disclosure notifications.
- Review and or draft documentation, reports, manuals, policies and procedures.
What’s required:
- University graduate.
- 5-7 years’ compliance experience, in an equity trading or hedge fund environment.
- Understanding of UK and European regulations and rules.
- Attention to detail and the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively with individuals at all levels and provide time-sensitive guidance confidently and decisively.
- Strong analytical, organizational and communications skills.
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards.
