ROLE:
- Working together with Broker Data and Alpha Capture (BD/AC) Lead to help manage relationships with sell-side brokers for broker data, which includes sourcing new data/research, managing strategic data initiatives to strengthen partnerships, and providing insights into the broker landscape for the buyside use-case
- Working together with BD/AC Lead to manage relationships with sell-side contributors of BIDS (Best Ideas Distribution System) Alpha Capture, which includes maintaining regular touch points with our contributors, communicating performance attribution and performance improvement guidelines, and expanding contributor partnership based on the market/industry trends and performance
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Managing relationships with the sell-side for broker data and BIDS
- Managing regular communications with BIDS contributors for performance feedback, attribution analysis, and performance improvement guidelines
- Managing relationships with internal stakeholders as a subject matter expert (SME) on broker data and BIDS
- Collaborating across all businesses (L/S, Macro, Cubist, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Legal) to expand broker data footprint and improve the quality of BIDS program
- Researching broker data and alpha capture landscape and staying up-to-date on industry/market trends and providing relevant insights to the internal stakeholders
- Managing day-to-day requests for broker data and BIDS, including overseeing the full broker data lifecycle and improving operational and administrative workflows
- Contributing to building Point72\’s data library with up-to-date information and research that can be used by our front office, middle office, and back office businesses
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor\’s or master\’s degree (with strong academic record)
- 3+ years of relevant experience
- Financial industry experience required; sell-side experience is a plus
- Alpha capture program experience is a plus
- Experience working with data sourcing and management is a plus
- Ability to be manage, prioritize, and execute tasks in a fast-faced, multitasking environment
- Ability to uphold compliance framework and IP sensitivity framework
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- High level of attention to detail
- Intellectual curiosity and love for proactive learning
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Commitment to the highest ethical standards
