What you'll do:
- Lead the decommissioning of our legacy trading technology platform and oversee the migration of all Macro business functionality into the new platform.
- Own the end-to-end product strategy and execution for the retirement of the legacy system and the migration to the new platform, ensuring minimal disruption to trading and downstream processes.
- Partner with Trading, Risk, Operations, and technology teams to document currentâstate workflows and translate them into targetâstate designs in the new platform.
- Develop and maintain a detailed product roadmap, milestones, and delivery plans aligned with the firm's strategic objectives.
- Coordinate with developers, QA, Infrastructure, and business stakeholders to ensure accurate and efficient migration of functionality.
- Identify potential risks to migration success, design mitigation strategies, and ensure robust testing and validation before decommissioning.
- Drive user training, communication, and adoption strategies for the new platform.
- Liaise with thirdâparty vendors for technical support, licensing adjustments, and migration best practices.
- Ensure the new platform is fully optimized for current and future Macro trading needs.
What's required:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, finance, or a related field.
- 10+ years of product management experience in buyâside or sellâside financial technology, particularly with crossâasset trading systems.
- Handsâon experience with market leading trading and risk management platforms, such as Murex and Orchestrade, including design, configuration, and implementation.
- Strong knowledge of Macro asset classes (Rates, FX, Credit, Commodities) frontâtoâback trade workflows.
- Proven experience leading largeâscale migration or decommissioning projects in a trading environment.
- Exceptional stakeholder communication skills and an ability to bridge gaps between business and technology teams.
- Strong analytical problemâsolving, and organizational skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fastâpaced, highâpressure environment.
