Role: Managing sell-side broker relationships for broker data, which includes sourcing new data and research from the sell-side, implementing strategic data initiatives with the sell-side to strengthen partnership, and providing insight into the broker landscape when it comes to data and research and how the buyside uses it Managing relationship with the sell-side contributors of BIDS (Best Ideas Distribution System) Alpha Capture, which includes maintaining regular touch points with our contributors, running performance attribution to help improve performance for our contributors, and expanding contributor partnership based on the market/industry trends and performance Responsibilities: Managing and building relationship with the sell-side for broker data and BIDS Managing regular communication with BIDS contributors with performance feedback, attribution analysis, and performance improvement guidelines Managing and building relationship with internal stakeholders as a subject matter expert on broker data and BIDS Collaborating across all businesses (L/S, Macro, Cubist, Treasury, Risk, Compliance, Legal) to expand broker data footprint and improve the quality of BIDS Researching the broker data and alpha capture landscape and staying up-to-date on industry/market trends and providing relevant insights to internal stakeholders Managing day-to-day requests for broker data and BIDS Contributing to building Point72’s data library with up to date information and research that can be used for our front office, middle office, and back office businesses Requirements: Bachelor’s or master’s degree (with strong academic record); progress towards a CFA is a plus 3+ years of relevant experience Financial industry experience required; sell-side experience is a plus Alpha capture program experience is a plus Experience working with data sourcing and management is a plus Ability to be manage, prioritize, and execute tasks in a fast-faced, multitasking environment Ability to uphold compliance framework and IP sensitivity framework Strong oral and written communication skills High level of attention to detail Intellectual curiosity and love for proactive learning Strong interpersonal skills Commitment to the highest ethical standards #J-18808-Ljbffr
