This role is designed for a senior commercial leader, potentially from a Chief Commercial Officer, Commercial Director or Innovation Director background, who understands how to translate market insight, customer demand, and growth ambition into scalable digital capability and sustainable organisational change.
You will be accountable for ensuring that digital investment and transformation programmes directly enable revenue growth, margin improvement, service performance and competitive advantage.
The Role:
- Operating at executive level, you will shape and lead a commercially focused transformation agenda, ensuring that technology, data, ways of working and culture work together to deliver tangible business outcomes.
- You will bring a strong external and customer‐led perspective, using digital innovation and change to unlock value across the end‐to‐end operation.

- This role carries full accountability for digital strategy, enterprise change delivery and internal communications, ensuring alignment, pace and adoption across the organisation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the digital and change agenda as a core enabler of commercial strategy, growth and customer value.
- Translate business and customer requirements into pragmatic digital solutions that improve service, efficiency and scalability.
- Own the value case for transformation initiatives, ensuring clear ROI, benefits tracking and commercial discipline.
- Sponsor and deliver large‐scale change programmes, embedding adoption and accountability across the business.
- Drive innovation in process, data and technology to improve decision‐making and operational performance.
- Partner closely with commercial, operational and functional leaders to unlock value across the organisation.
- Lead strategic internal communications to support execution, engagement and behavioural change.
- Build digital capability and literacy to ensure long‐term competitiveness.
- Lead and develop senior teams across IT, Change and Communications.

About You:
We're looking for a commercially minded transformation leader who understands how digital capability and change delivery underpin profitable growth. You'll bring credibility with senior stakeholders, customers and technical teams alike, and are comfortable operating at both strategic and executional levels.
You are likely to bring:
- Senior leadership experience in a commercial, innovation or growth‐focused role (e.g. CCO, Commercial Director, Innovation Director).
- Strong technical understanding of digital platforms, data, automation and enterprise IT, without needing to be a hands‐on technologist.
- Proven experience delivering enterprise‐scale digital transformation and change programmes.
- Strong commercial and financial acumen, including business case development and benefits realisation.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills across customers, global teams and complex organisations.
- The ability to balance pace, governance and adoption in high‐impact programmes.
- Clear, influential communication style with the confidence to challenge and lead at executive level.
- Willingness to travel as required.
Why This Role...
This is a rare opportunity for a senior commercial leader to shape how a large organisation competes, grows and delivers for its customers.
