Point Six One Eight is delighted to be partnering with a highly regarded and respected creative agency in Edinburgh, in their search for a Senior Account Manager to join their Client Services team. This is a pivotal role, owning key client relationships, leading complex integrated campaigns, and driving commercial growth across a portfolio of high-value accounts.
You’ll be a trusted advisor to clients, balancing strategic thinking with hands-on delivery, whilst working closely with creative, strategy, and production teams to deliver work that makes an impact.
The Role:You’ll take full ownership of client relationships, building trust, understanding their business inside-out, and guiding them on how to get the most from their marketing investment. Alongside this, you’ll lead the delivery of multi-channel campaigns, ensuring projects run smoothly, on time and on budget, while maintaining a high standard for creative quality. This is essential. There’s also a strong commercial edge to this role. You’ll have the ability to spot opportunities to grow accounts, contribute to new business activity, and play a key role in driving revenue across the agency.
Key Responsibilities:- Own and develop senior client relationships, acting as the main point of contact
- Lead the strategic direction of accounts, advising on branding, campaigns and marketing approach
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring seamless delivery across internal teams
- Oversee timelines, budgets and resourcing, keeping everything on track
- Drive account growth through upselling and identifying new opportunities
- Support new business pitches and proposals
- Manage financials including forecasting, invoicing and profitability
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to a high-performing team culture
- Proven experience in an agency-side Account Manager / Senior Account Manager role (needed)
- Strong background in delivering integrated marketing or creative campaigns
- Confident managing senior stakeholders and high-value accounts
- Commercially minded, with experience growing accounts and managing budgets
- A real 'go-getting' and driven attitude who loves getting things done
- Highly organised, able to juggle multiple projects
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with a genuine interest in marketing and creative
