We’re recruiting for a hands-on Workshop Assistant to join a busy and friendly engineering company based in Earith, Cambridgeshire. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys physical work, being part of a team, and supporting skilled engineers in a well-equipped workshop environment. This is a temporary position with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate. Main Responsibilities:
- Assisting engineers with daily tasks in the workshop
- Hanging finished products on hooks ready for finishing
- Preparing components for the spray shop
- General housekeeping and maintaining a tidy work area
- Supporting other workshop tasks as required
Skills/Experience:
- Previous experience in a workshop or manufacturing environment is an advantage
- Physically fit and able to handle manual work
- Willingness to learn and follow instructions
- Good attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and a strong team player
Hourly Rate & Working Hours:
£25,396 per annum
Monday to Thursday: 08:00 to 17:00, Friday: 08:00 to 14:00
