We are looking for a driven and customer-focused UK Sales Specialist to proactively sell products and solutions to both new and existing customers across the UK. This UK Sales Specialist role is ideal for someone who thrives in a target-driven sales environment and enjoys building strong, long-term customer relationships through proactive engagement and confident communication.
As a UK Sales Specialist, you will take ownership of developing your own sales pipeline, generating new business opportunities, and maximising revenue through cross-selling and upselling. Based at a Cambridgeshire head office, this permanent UK Sales Specialist role offers the opportunity to grow your sales career within a collaborative and performance-led sales team, with ongoing training and development to support your success.
Main Responsibilities:- Build and maintain strong working relationships with key accounts.
- Proactively seek new orders while maximising sales opportunities with existing customers.
- Use cross-selling and upselling techniques to enhance customer value and revenue.
- Conduct outbound sales calls, including cold calling, to generate new business.
- Deliver sales pitches and product demonstrations over the phone and face to face.
- Develop and manage a healthy pipeline of qualified sales leads.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve and exceed monthly sales targets.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using CRM systems.
- Participate in site visits where required to strengthen customer relationships.
- Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or a target-driven environment.
- Confidence in prospecting, cold calling, and closing sales.
- Ability to build rapport with customers at all levels.
- IT literate with experience using MS Office, email, and CRM systems.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Organised, detail-focused, and able to manage multiple priorities effectively.
- Full right to work in the UK; driving licence and own transport desirable.
- Salary: Β£25,000 β Β£27,500 per annum depending on experience, plus commission following successful probation.
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 β 17:00 (one day per week finishing at 16:30).
- Contract: Permanent, full-time.
- Location: Cambridgeshire-based office.
