Our client in St Neots has a fantastic opportunity available for a skilled Production Operator on a temporary to permanent basis to work in an assembly manufacturing environment. The starting salary is £28,119 leading up to £30,420 after 3 months.

Key Responsibilities for the Production Operator:

  • Assemble mechanical components using hand tools
  • Read and interpret assembly and work instructions
  • Perform quality checks to ensure all products meet company standards
  • Stamp parts using machinery
  • Measure and cut materials to tight tolerances using cutting equipment
  • Flushing components with lubricants or pellets
  • Tape and bag finished products ready for dispatch
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
  • Working to achieve production targets

Experience required for the Production Operator:

  • Previous experience in mechanical assembly or a similar production role
  • Excellent attention to detail and good manual dexterity
  • A strong work ethic with the ability to work independently or as part of a team
  • A basic understanding of health and safety practices in a production environment

Hours of work for the Production Operator:

Monday to Friday Rotating shifts: 06:00-14:00 / 14:00-22:00 (Friday 8.30pm finish)
