This is your opportunity to join a highly skilled and experienced team as a Production Operative based near Papworth Everard. This role is set in two departments, packing in the despatch department, where you will be responsible for checking, labelling, and packing material into cores or bags ready for despatch via van, courier or for collection by the client, as well as some machine running manufacturing the product.

Duties for the Night Production Operative:

  • Packing materials to their different specifications.
  • Picking and packing for retail campaigns.
  • Processing jobs correctly to ensure despatch area remains organised and labelling where required.
  • Clearing and keeping area tidy for next jobs to be laid out and packaged.
  • Loading of outbound vehicles.
  • Machine operating and cutting products to size.

Skills and Experience for the Night Production Operative:

  • The ideal candidate must be physically able to undertake the heavy lifting that is required.
  • This is a customer facing role so a high level of customer service is expected.
  • Good attention to detail and high level of organisation are vital.
  • Must be a good team player with great communication skills.
  • Flexible approach and ability to do overtime where required.
  • IT literate to understand machine diagrams.

Hours of work for the Night Production Operative: Sunday to Thursday Nights 10.00pm to 6.00am
