Our client based in Chatteris is looking for a Logistics Coordinator whose focus is to support the day-to-day running of the logistics department, inventory planning, and transport operations to ensure all goods are planned, received, stored, and dispatched safely, accurately, on time and in full. Collaborating closely with internal teams and external partners, the Logistics Coordinator plans stock requirements in line with demand and harvest parameters, resolves logistical issues, ensures accurate system records, and contributes to continuous improvement across the logistics function.

Day to Day duties for the Logistics Coordinator:

  • Coordinate the day-to-day logistics, warehouse, and dispatch administration activities.
  • Maintain accurate and timely logistics records, reports, and operational documentation to support effective decision-making, traceability, and compliance.
  • Responsible for the planning of raw material and procurement requirements in line with forecast demand.
  • Control of the procurement and stock management of non-production consumables, including PPE and indirect operational supplies.
  • Planning and ordering of packaging requirements in line with production schedules and lead times.
  • Monitoring of stock levels, stock movements, and system accuracy. Investigation of stock discrepancies in a timely manner, identify root causes and support corrective actions.
