The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for the daily operational management of the Warehouse. Leading a small team in a fast-moving warehouse, the position ensures an efficient, safe, and accurate execution of all Logistics processes for handling, storing, and shipping our clients' products.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Coordinating and monitoring the daily warehouse and shipping activities, ensuring correct execution of receiving, storage, picking, and shipping goods.
- Being actively present in the workplace (management by walking around).
- Analysing stock discrepancies, damages and loading errors.
- Coordinate with Transport teams, Office Team, and Customer Services to resolve issues.
- Ensuring compliance with Health & Safety, Quality and Operating regulations.
- Following warehouse standards, policies, and procedure (SOP's).
- Managing Warehouse team, overseeing all aspects of training, coaching, development, performance reviews, return to work, and personnel issues.
- Promote collaboration, engagement, and a positive work culture across departments.
- Making improvement proposals with an impact on processes and organization.
- Training and Development, ensuring Training Matrix completed and reviewed on a regular basis.
Main requirements:
- Demonstrable experience in a similar position providing leadership support and guidance for team members.
- Proficient IT skills.
- Experience with ERP systems an advantage.
- Ability to work under pressure and prioritise key tasks while maintaining calm approach.
- Good communicative and social skills.
- Valid in date FLT Counterbalance Licence required.
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 8.00am to 4.00pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm
