CNC Turner ( Setter / Programmer / Operator) £37,500 plus benefits Job Overview for the CNC Turner: As a skilled CNC Turner – Setter/ Programmer/ Operator, the CNC Turner is primarily responsible for setting, programming and operating CNC Turning equipment. This is a permanent position for a manufacturing company based in St Ives. Key Responsibilities and Duties for the CNC Turner: * Programme, Set and Operate various CNC lathes including XYZ and HAAS machines. * Produce high quality parts to drawing. * Be responsible for checking the quality of parts being produced using various measuring equipment. * Consider Health, Safety and Environmental risks always. * Other engineering tasks as reasonably required by the Engineering Supervisor. Key Skills, Qualifications & Experience for the CNC Turner: * A driven and enthusiastic individual with good time management skills. * Time served competent machinist with ability to programme using various systems including Fanuc, Siemens, Haas and Prototrak systems. * Ability to interpret mechanical documents. * Familiar with Imperial and Metric measuring. * Ability to assist in solving production problems. * Communicate competently and confidently in a variety of situations including one to one and team settings. * Up to date fork truck licence beneficial but not essential.
