Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage risk across a credit trading book with full P&L accountability
- Drive alpha generation across Investment Grade and/or High Yield markets
- Play a key role in developing trading infrastructure, models, and systematic capabilities
- Collaborate closely with quantitative researchers, technologists, and traders to enhance pricing, execution, and automation
- Build and maintain strong market relationships, contributing to liquidity provision and flow generation
- Influence the strategic direction of the European credit business
- Act as a senior presence on the desk, supporting mentorship and team development
Candidate Profile
- Proven track record in credit trading, with consistent performance and disciplined risk management
- Deep understanding of credit markets (IG and/or High Yield), including liquidity, structure, and relative value
- Experience contributing to or building trading platforms, infrastructure, or new business lines
- Strong commercial judgement with the ability to adapt to evolving market structure
