Hybrid Software Support Technician

Some support jobs are a conveyor belt of tickets. This isn’t one of them. You’ll be the voice customers are relieved to reach — the person who actually sorts it.

We’ll make you an expert in our flagship UK product Syrinx and the hire industry, then build you a path into 2nd Line.

Founded in 1982, used in 77 countries, and still growing our Reading team one great hire at a time.

What you’ll do

  • Give customers phone and email support they’ll thank you for
  • Own your case queue in Salesforce and keep everything moving within SLA
  • Catch the issues that matter early — and escape them well
  • Write the knowledge-base articles that make everyone faster
  • Help test new Syrinx releases before they ship

What you’ll bring

  • Support experience with external customers
  • A calm, confident phone manner and real care for people
  • Any SQL Server, Windows client/server, IIS or networking know-how (a big plus)
  • A fast learner who follows process and spots the detail
  • Bonus points: hire-industry knowledge, Crystal Reports, Sage/Quick Books, or German
