About the role… The Account Manager: Merchant Sales position is a revenue generation role designed to maximize Customer Lifetime Value (CLTV) by closing up-sell / add-on opportunities specific to our Paymentcard products and integration partners.
Expectations...
- Close payment card integration sales opportunities within the current customer base while working closely with our Payment card partners to increase the velocity at which our customers utilize their products and services.
- Close >10 opportunities per month, within a designated mix of new and existing customers.
- Ability to read and analyze merchant services statements and pricing.
- Be the subject matter expert, and drive cross-team collaboration and understanding of our Payment card products and integration partners.
- Generate the highest probability of sale through effective demonstration of proven sales behaviours including, but not limited to:
- Completing effective discovery calls focused on learning the prospect’s current Paymentcard related challenges.
- Providing effective solution recommendations while communicating accurate business value alignment between the customer’s challenges and the recommended solution.
- Meet or exceed monthly quotas.
Requirements…
- Minimum 1 year proven sales experience with merchant services.
- Integrated payment card processing.
- Experience working SaaS platforms and/or vertically focused software is a bonus.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional time-management skills.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work in fast paced, changing environment with a sense of urgency and persistence.
- Hunger for continuous learning/improvement and a willingness to implement best practices.
- Entrepreneurial spirit with an ability to adapt to changing processes.
- Ability to follow a prescribed sales process and effectively utilize provided tools and resources.
Job Type: Full-Time, Exempt. Base Salary + Commission + Benefits.
