Wolfson College – one of the University of Oxford’s largest and most international graduate colleges – is looking for a Fees and Charges Accounts Assistant to join its Accounts Team.
Key Responsibilities
- Processing student fees, payments, receipts, and financial declarations.
- Responding to enquiries from students and external funding bodies.
- Monitoring fee and battels accounts and assisting with debtor reporting.
- Processing battels receipts and College charges.
- Monitoring shared inboxes and responding to queries.
- Providing general support within the Accounts Office and cover for colleagues as required.
Skills and Experience
- Good standard of general education, GCSEs & A-levels.
- Understanding of accounts and debits and credits.
- Excellent IT skills, including working knowledge of Excel, Word and databases.
- Strong communication skills – written and verbal.
- Disciplined and organised approach to work and attention to detail.
- Good timekeeping.
- Ability to multi-task and correctly prioritise the workload.
- Ability and confidence to work under minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish good working relationships with colleagues both within the department and across departments.
- Experience of working in an Accounts department.
39 days annual leave including Bank Holidays. Free lunch within allowance when on duty. Free parking.
Salary: £28,578 per annum.
Contract and Hours: Permanent, Full Time.
Location: Linton Road, Oxford OX2 6UD.
