Key Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality Maths lessons that follow the carefully sequenced and ambitious department curriculum.
- Uphold the Bishopshalt values so that all students can love learning, chase brilliance, show kindness, build character, and have bright futures.
- Regularly review and update the curriculum provision to ensure coherence and ambition.
- Implement effective Assessment for Learning strategies to inform teaching.
- Use data to review student progress and provide appropriate and timely interventions.
- Participate in the life of the school beyond the classroom.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the subject, pedagogy, curriculum developments, and safeguarding responsibilities.
- Set challenging yet achievable performance targets; monitor progress and hold staff accountable.
