The Leprosy Mission - the world’s largest leprosy-focused organisation – are looking for an inspirational communicator to be the face of the charity as a Community Partnerships Manager based in the North Wales & the Midlands region.
Key Responsibilities
- Developing and delivering ambitious regional fundraising plans to maximise local support.
- Achieving financial targets in line with the Community Fundraising Strategy.
- Identifying new income streams and recruiting and retaining new supporters.
- Working with other members of the Fundraising Team to actively promote legacies and provide pipeline to Partnerships Team.
- Training volunteers in cooperation with the Line Manager.
Skills and Experience
- Educated to degree level, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Proven experience of delivering growth in a community fundraising or business setting.
- A confident and inspirational communicator.
- Ability to network face to face and on conference calls.
- Excellent presentation skills, with the ability to adapt to different audiences e.g. corporate, faith groups etc.
- Proven ability to implement strategies, policy guidelines, practice guidance and other tools to support best practice in community fundraising.
- Experience of preaching and confident leading church services in a variety of church settings.
- Excellent volunteer management skills, with the ability to recruit, retain, motivate and train volunteers.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to apply data insight to strategic decision making.

Salary: £32,000 per annum + £7,000 car allowance.
Contract and Hours: Permanent, full-time, 35 hours per week.
Location: This is a home-based role; however, applicants must be based in North Wales or the Midlands.
