The Duchy of Cornwall – a dynamic future-focused landed estate dedicated to creating positive impact for people, places and the planet - is looking for a Senior Project Co-ordinator to support the delivery of an exciting portfolio of IT transformation projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the planning, coordination and delivery of multiple IT projects, including software implementations, system upgrades, infrastructure changes, data projects and process improvement initiatives.
- Maintain project plans, timelines, milestones, task owners and dependencies using Monday.com, ensuring information is accurate, current and accessible to relevant stakeholders.
- Co-ordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, capture actions and decisions, and follow up with owners to ensure timely completion.
- Track project progress, risks, issues, assumptions and dependencies, escalating concerns to Head of Business Transformation or senior stakeholders where appropriate.
- Support the Head of Business Transformation in preparing clear project status reports, dashboards and updates for leadership teams.
- Support resource tracking and supplier documentation where required.
- Act as a central point of co‑ordination between technical teams, business users, suppliers and project sponsors.
- Maintain project documentation in line with organisational standards.
- Support change control processes, ensuring requests are recorded, assessed, approved and reflected in project plans.
- Maintain and improve project management system’s boards, dashboards, automations and workflows to support IT project delivery.
Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in project co‑ordination, project administration or PMO support, ideally within IT, digital transformation or business change environments.
- Strong working knowledge of project management platforms, including boards, dashboards, automations, permissions, reporting and workflow design, or a similar application (transferable skills in Asana, Monday.com Smartsheets etc or similar are acceptable).
- Good understanding of project management principles, governance, delivery lifecycles and risk and issue management.
- Experience coordinating cross‑functional teams, including technical specialists, business users and external suppliers.
- Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deadlines across multiple projects.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to chase actions, clarify requirements and present updates clearly.
- High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining accurate plans, reports and documentation.
- Ability to identify risks, blockers and dependencies and escalates them appropriately.
- Confident user of Microsoft 365 tools, including Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Agile, waterfall or hybrid project delivery approaches would be beneficial.
- 12% non‑contributory pension scheme.
