Are you ready to take on a role that impacts your community? We are currently seeking an enthusiastic and dedicated Independent Advocate to join our vibrant team in Nottinghamshire! As a Changing Futures - Independent Advocate, you need to be non-judgmental and understand the power and importance of kindness and showing respect in order to receive it.
Hours of Work: 2x Part-Time: 18.5 hours, working between Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm
Location: Home based with travel around the Nottinghamshire Borough.
Contract type: Permanent
Independent Advocate Requirements:
- Excellent IT skills, including the use of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, and the ability to learn software packages such as client management databases.
- Experience of working to quality standards (e.g. Experience of working with people with a range of disabilities and/or challenging behaviour).
- Knowledge and/or experience of Self Advocacy approaches.
