We are currently looking for a Relevant Person's Paid Representative to join our vibrant and dedicated team based in Nottinghamshire.
As a Relevant Person's Paid Representative, you will support a diverse range of vulnerable adults, frequently with profound and multiple needs. You will leverage your experience to provide persuasive verbal and written representations, working independently and with professional discretion. You will handle sensitive information responsibly, travel regularly to visit beneficiaries, and ensure their voices are heard and their rights upheld.
Hours and Location
- Hours of work: We are open to discussing both full-time and part-time hours. Please specify your preference within the application. Both full-time and part-time roles are 9:00am to 5:00pm, Monday to Friday as required.
- Location: Home-based with travel around the Nottingham area. Applicants should live in the Nottingham area, have a full driver's licence, and access to their own transport.
Salary and Contract
- Salary: Full-time starting salary £24,242.40 per annum (Part-time is pro rata).
- Contract Type: Permanent.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with vulnerable adults; experience within a health and social care setting would be an advantage.
- Understanding of safeguarding and deprivation of liberty would be useful.
- Excellent communication and time management skills.
- Intermediate Word, Excel and Outlook skills would be beneficial.
- Experience in handling highly sensitive information securely.
- Full driver's licence and access to your own transport; appropriate business use car insurance.
Benefits
- 25 days annual leave + Bank holidays (rising to 30 days after 5 years' service) with the option to buy or sell up to 5 days leave and a birthday off as an additional holiday after 1 year's service.
