We’re hiring Business Development Managers across multiple key UK cities. The Role
You’ll control new business development in your city — from prospecting to close. Working directly with bars, pubs, restaurants, and wholesalers, you’ll be the face of Podkováň in your market.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Winning new on-trade and wholesale listings across your territory
- Building and managing a strong pipeline from first contact to account activation
- Developing lasting relationships with key accounts, buyers, and venue operators
- Driving volume growth for Podkováň Classic Lager and Dark Lager
- Representing the brand at trade tastings, activations, and industry events
- Reporting on activity, forecasting accurately, and hitting monthly targets
What We’re Looking For
- Proven track record in field sales — drinks industry experience a strong plus
- Good knowledge of the on-trade scene in your city (pubs, bars, restaurants, independents)
- A natural relationship-builder with the confidence to approach cold accounts
- Commercially sharp — you understand margin, rate of sale, and how buyers think
- Self-managing and target-driven: you don’t need hand-holding to get results
- Genuine enthusiasm for quality beer and authentic brands
The Package
- Low base retainer to cover your essentials
- Uncapped commission — your earnings grow directly with the accounts you win
- Performance bonuses for hitting key milestones
- The tools and samples you need to sell effectively
This structure suits someone who wants to be rewarded for what they actually do — not just for showing up.
Why Podkováň
- One of the most authentic Czech lagers on the market — brewed with natural spring water and 600+ years of craft
- A genuine gap in the UK market for a premium heritage lager with real provenance
- Get in on the ground floor of a growing UK operation — with the ability to progress as we scale
- Work alongside founders who are invested in your success
