At Podium, we power the sports betting industry with world-class data solutions, delivering real-time insights that help bookmakers, media organisations and racing stakeholders make smarter, faster decisions. Part of PA Media Group, Podium is trusted by leading global operators and is evolving rapidly. We’re moving beyond being a traditional data supplier to becoming a truly product-led business, focused on identifying new opportunities, creating demand, and delivering differentiated value at scale. With growing momentum across racing, betting and media markets, and ambitious plans for what comes next, Podium is investing in product leadership to fuel our next stage of growth.

About the role

We’re looking for a Product Manager to play a significant role in Podium’s growth journey. This is a new role, created to strengthen how we shape product strategy and turn customer problems into products that drive commercial impact. You’ll sit at the heart of Podium’s transition to a product-led organisation, helping define what we build, why we build it, and how it creates value for our partners. You’ll own problem definition and opportunity discovery in key areas of the business, working closely with engineering, commercial and customer-facing teams. While you won’t be expected to write code, you’ll be comfortable working with API-driven products and collaborating closely with technical teams to shape pragmatic, high-impact solutions. If you’re motivated by growth, innovation, and the chance to influence direction; not just delivery, this is a rare opportunity to make your mark.

What you’ll do

  • Shape product direction: Own the product vision and roadmap for your area, aligned to Podium’s growth strategy and commercial priorities.
  • Lead discovery: Develop a deep understanding of customer needs, workflows and pain points across sports, racing, media, and betting markets.
  • Turn insight into opportunity: Translate research and insight into clear problem statements, prioritised opportunities, and compelling product briefs.
  • Drive growth: Identify and validate new product and innovation opportunities that help Podium create demand and unlock new revenue.
  • Own outcomes: Define success metrics and take accountability for product impact, not just delivery.
  • Collaborate deeply: Work closely with engineering to explore solutions, navigate trade-offs and deliver value efficiently.
  • Support go-to-market: Partner with commercial and marketing teams to articulate value propositions and support successful launches.
  • Be the customer voice: Act as a trusted internal advocate for users, ensuring clarity, alignment and focus across stakeholders.

We’d love to hear from you if you have…

  • Experience as a Product Manager in a digital, data-led or platform business.
  • Strong domain knowledge and a genuine passion for sports and/or sports betting markets (horse racing knowledge is a real advantage).
  • A proven ability to identify customer problems and turn them into meaningful product opportunities.
  • Experience working with API-based or platform products, with the confidence to engage in technical discussions.
  • A history of prioritising effectively and making evidence-led decisions.
  • The ability to work confidently across engineering, commercial, design and leadership teams.

What we offer

You’ll join a collaborative, ambitious team where product has a real voice and where you’ll have the space to influence direction, not just execution. Benefits include: 25 days’ annual leave, plus a holiday purchase scheme.
