We are one of the fastest-growing podcast & audiobook platforms in Europe, and we are now looking for more manpower in the Data team. We know the value of using data and insights to stimulate growth. This is where you enter the picture! We need a razor sharp Product Analyst to deep dive into our extensive datasets and help generate analytics, insights and growth. You'll be our analytics-go-to for our massive and complex events data, and will play a central role in developing our product. Come and join us on our journey to enrich lives through listening.
This is the role
In your daily life you will be the go to person for understanding data and user behaviour in a dedicated product squad. You will analyze what drives engagement and together with the product-team provide insights and recommendations on what the Podimo experience should look like in the future. Some of the fun things you will be doing in this role includes:
- Get an understanding of user behaviour in the app and come up with suggestions on how we can make users even more engaged.
- Setup, create and analyze experiments to assess impact of new product features.
- Go deep in the data to understand the overall holistic impact of our features and new content releases.
- Set-up and develop dashboards in Looker.
- From data, come up with new ideas on what to test and develop at Podimo.
- Collaborate with people across the globe from product, growth, content and user-research.
You will also play a vital part in the larger Insights and Analytics team where you will collaborate with other analysts, data scientists and user researchers on more broad and complex projects to determine the strategic direction of Podimo as a whole. The Data-Team is widely used for strategic purposes at Podimo, so if you enjoy seeing your insights turn to actual products and business decisions, and you love collaborating with talented people with experience from Meta, Amazon, Spotify etc., then you’ll fit right in.

You are an effective diplomat with strong communication and organizational skills. You are patient, understanding, ego-free, and eager to give and receive constructive feedback.
Experience we’re looking for:
- At least two years of experience working hands-on with analytical tasks. This includes doing ad-hoc analysis, setting up and running product experiments as well as building effective dashboards.
- Strong communication skills, turning data into actionable insights understood by a non-technical audience to create business.
- Experience in more advanced analytics being familiar with techniques as supervised and unsupervised learning, causal inference and/or Bayesian statistics.
- Experience managing stakeholder relationships. Understanding how to transfer their requests into actual analytical tasks and being able to prioritize them based on business impact, while also being transparent about your current tasks and priorities.
- Curious mindset, always going the extra mile to uncover actionable insights in the data.
- Advanced level SQL.
- Proficiency in Python or R.
- Experience with MixPanel or similar tool is a big plus.
- Experience with BigQuery, DBT and Looker is a plus.
- Comfortable with a dynamic and fast-paced start-up environment.
- Support on setting key goals for your dedicated squad through an in-depth understanding of our user experience and business insights.
- Previous experience supporting product teams in a tech-company is preferred.
- Naturally, being passionate and knowledgeable about podcasts, audio content, media, and entertainment is a big plus!
