Podean is a leading marketplace agency helping brands accelerate growth across Amazon, Walmart, Target, TikTok Shop, and other digital commerce platforms. We combine strategic expertise, data-driven insights, and creative innovation to deliver measurable business outcomes for our clients. Podean is seeking an experienced Amazon and marketplaces Media Manager to join our fast-growing media team in Europe. This role would suit a highly capable go-getter, looking to take their knowledge and experience to the next level, supporting some of the most successful and sophisticated brands on Amazon.

As an E-commerce Media Manager specializing in Marketplace Media, you’ll manage campaigns across the UK, Germany, and other markets - analysing performance, presenting insights to clients, and helping drive results. You’ll be the go-to contact for your clients and a key team player, working independently and collaboratively to keep campaigns on track.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead the development and execution of media strategies across multiple complex clients.
  • Mentor and train media team members, providing guidance and support to help team members grow and develop their skills.
  • Strong understanding of bid technology and implementation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance the full-funnel approach on Amazon and other marketplaces, sharing learnings and best practices with the broader team.
  • Work with a cross-functional team, delegating effectively through strong partnership and intuition.
  • Develop skills to communicate effectively with clients and partners in their own language, anticipating their needs and actions.
  • Generate project ideas that benefit the broader team.
  • Analyzing performance data to optimize campaigns continuously.
  • Managing complex budgets and making strategic recommendations for the allocation of funds.
  • Contribute to developing best practice POVs, trainings, SOPs, Case Studies, and other projects to improve the holistic media team.
  • Ensuring successful campaign execution through cross-functional collaboration.
  • Contribute to new business audits, pitches, and proposals.

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3+ years of hands‑on experience in Amazon or marketplace media (PPC), ideally managing campaigns across the UK, Germany, and other European markets.
  • Deep in‑platform experience with Amazon Sponsored Ads or a similar PPC model is essential; familiarity with Amazon DSP is expected, with hands‑on experience being a strong advantage.
  • Proven ability to develop, own, and present media strategies, confidently sharing insights and recommendations with sophisticated, knowledgeable clients.
  • Strong data analysis skills, able to independently spot trends, uncover opportunities, and turn insights into strategic recommendations.
  • Experience with campaign bidding and management tools.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, and chart building.
  • Ability to lead, mentor, and support junior team members, contributing to their development and broader company thought leadership.
  • Experience supporting new business pitches is advantageous.
  • Fluency in European languages, in addition to English, would be an advantage, but is not essential.

Key Qualities:

  • Proactive, curious, and enthusiastic. You don’t just report numbers, you seek to understand what they mean.
  • Flexible and can cope with change.
  • Highly responsive and organised, with proven project management skills.
  • Ability to multitask and delegate where necessary.
  • Ability to clearly communicate your ideas to junior and senior colleagues alike.
  • Attention to detail.

Why Join Podean?

  • Competitive compensation aligned to experience and market benchmarks.
  • Remote‑first flexibility – work from anywhere, with trust and autonomy.
  • Global collaboration – working with experts across regions and time zones.
  • Career growth and development – opportunities to evolve as we scale.
  • 5‑Year Sabbatical plus Travel Stipend – After your 5‑year anniversary, take a fully paid month‑long sabbatical, plus a travel reimbursement to make your experience restorative and inspiring.
