About the Role
Podcast House is looking for a highly skilled Podcast Video Editor & Engineer to join our growing team. This is primarily an editing-focused role, ideal for someone with strong creative instincts, advanced post-production skills, and experience creating engaging podcast and social-first content. Alongside editing, you’ll also support and operate podcast recording sessions within our studio spaces.
We’re looking for someone who is confident in post-production, understands visual storytelling and pacing, and can bring podcasts to life through high-quality edits, motion graphics, VFX, and creative polish. This is a full-time, office-based role working from our Farringdon studio five days per week.
Role Overview
- Lead on editing long-form podcast episodes and social content
- Create engaging edits using motion graphics, subtitles, VFX, and visual storytelling
- Support and operate studio recording sessions when required
- Work closely with clients and the internal team to deliver polished, high-quality content
- Contribute creatively to improving content style and workflows
What You’ll Be Doing
- Edit full-length podcast episodes and short-form social cutdowns
- Apply motion graphics, VFX, subtitles, colour grading, sound polish, and creative enhancements
- Create engaging social-first content optimised for platforms such as Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Organise and manage media, project files, and delivery workflows
- Support podcast recording sessions including cameras, audio, lighting, and studio setup
- Help ensure a smooth, professional client experience in-studio
What We’re Looking For
- Strong editing portfolio/showreel (essential)
- Excellent editing skills with strong pacing and storytelling ability
- Experience with motion graphics and VFX
- Advanced skills in Premiere Pro and/or DaVinci Resolve
- After Effects experience highly desirable
- Some experience with cameras, audio, and studio production
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, creative, client-facing environment
- Comfortable working in-office at our Farringdon studio five days per week
