We are looking for someone who thrives on ownership, brings clarity to complexity and is passionate about building products that genuinely improve how people live and travel, while also developing others and raising the bar for product excellence.

You’ll be responsible for:

  • Define and lead proposition and product strategy - you’ll set direction and develop a strategic product vision that drives Pod further into the HEMS space.
  • Own and shape the proposition and product roadmap - you’ll work closely with the VP of Product & Design, you will plan, define, and continuously evolve the product roadmap, ensuring priorities are driven by customer value and business outcomes.
  • Lead a cross-functional team - you’ll bring together Product, Technology, Commercial and Operational teams, ensuring a joined-up approach to identifying opportunities, prioritising initiatives, and delivering value.
  • Champion the voice of the customer - you’ll define compelling product propositions that act as a single source of truth, ensuring customer needs remain central to decision making and delivery.
  • Enable joined-up product delivery - you’ll collaborate across Product and Technology teams to ensure alignment across platforms and horizontal capabilities, driving cohesive and scalable solutions.
  • Lead end-to-end Go to Market launches - you’ll be accountable in bringing all aspects of new propositions to market across Product, Marketing, Technology and Operations.
  • Lead and develop high performing teams - you’ll guide, mentor, and support Product Managers and delivery teams, ensuring best practices are followed and teams are set up for success.
  • Embed product-centric thinking across the business - you’ll champion a product-led mindset, using market insight, customer data, and stakeholder engagement to influence decisions across POD.
  • Drive innovation and continuous improvement - you’ll foster a culture of experimentation, learning, and continuous improvement within Product and the wider organisation.

What You'll Bring:

  • Senior product leadership experience - You bring a proven track record of leading product strategy and delivering customer-led propositions, with the gravitas to influence senior stakeholders.
  • Home Energy Management System experience (HEMS) and/or flex market experience - You will have a strong knowledge of either HEMS or flex and be able to showcase the importance of either.
  • Strategic and commercial thinking – You can balance business value with customer needs, making informed decisions that drive growth while delivering meaningful user experiences.
  • Stakeholder management and influence - You excel at aligning and orchestrating cross-functional teams, resolving conflicting priorities, and gaining buy-in to execute on a shared vision.
  • Expertise in product management – You have deep experience in product lifecycle management, roadmap ownership, and translating complex technical concepts into customer-focused solutions.
  • Experience leading product and delivery teams – You are experienced in managing Product Owners and working closely with engineering teams to deliver efficiently.
  • Customer centric mindset – You are customer obsessed, with boundless curiosity about who they are and what they need. You naturally advocate for the customer, using insights and data to shape product decisions and outcomes.
  • Ownership and initiative – Comfortable taking end-to-end responsibility for strategy, execution, and reporting.
  • Experience shaping ways of working - You have dug into process, people and outcomes to improve the product lifecycle.
  • Mentoring and peer development - You have a strong track record of building the skills of the people around you and elevating product as a discipline across the team.
