We’re Pod – one of the UK’s leading EV charging providers, trusted by over 250,000 customers and powering more than 5 million miles every single day. We started in 2009 as Pod Point and are now part of the EDF family, the UK’s biggest generator of zero‑carbon electricity. In 2026 we welcomed EO Charging into the Pod family, expanding our commercial fleet and energy management capabilities to support logistics, transport and operational fleet customers in electrifying at scale.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate contractors and installations – work closely with project managers to ensure smooth delivery.
  • Manage materials – purchase orders and logistics; raise quotes and purchase orders across commercial, domestic and maintenance work, ensuring items are ordered and arrive on site when needed.
  • Oversee equipment hire and cost control – manage equipment hire across projects, review usage weekly and ensure items are off‑hired promptly to minimise unnecessary costs.
  • Own invoicing and payments – run the end‑to‑end receipting and payment process, ensuring supplier and subcontractor payments are accurate and released only when work and documentation are complete.
  • Ensure documentation and QA readiness – work closely with internal teams and subcontractors to upload completion packs and obtain QA sign‑offs ahead of payment.
  • Maintain commercial data accuracy – keep purchase orders, supplier records and receipting data accurate across systems.
  • Deliver reporting and insights – produce regular and ad‑hoc reports, turning operational data into clear, actionable insights for the commercial project management team.
  • Drive process improvements and automation – identify opportunities to reduce manual effort, build automations and help others across the business improve how they work with data and tools.

What we're looking for

  • Confidence working with data – comfortable pulling, cleaning and presenting data to support project delivery and decision making.
  • Experience coordinating suppliers or contractors – work experience in a delivery environment such as field service, construction or installations.
  • Excellent organisation and attention to detail – able to balance recurring responsibilities with changing priorities while maintaining accuracy.
  • Advanced spreadsheet skills – confident using Google Sheets or Excel to manage, analyse and present data.
  • Clear communication skills – keep project managers, contractors and internal stakeholders aligned and informed.
