About the Role
Pod-Trak is looking for an
Estimator to join our busy Pre-Construction department, based in Uxbridge, West London.
Working closely with the Bid Manager and wider Pre-Construction team, the position will be key to providing a professional and efficient service in support of bids and tenders.
The candidate will have a collaborative approach and will require a high standard of communication and writing skills.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare first-principles estimates, cost plans, and tender pricing submissions.
Review tender documents, drawings, specifications, schedules, Bo Qs, and scope requirements.
Price work across rail, infrastructure, energy, and water, adapting the approach to client, asset, and delivery constraints.
Support civil engineering estimates, including earthworks, drainage, concrete, structures, foundations, compounds, and enabling works.
Prepare enquiry packages for subcontractors and suppliers.
Identify and price key tender risks, including scope gaps, design maturity, ground conditions, interfaces, access, programme, possessions, utilities, consents, and third-party dependencies.
