About the role
Pod-Trak is seeking a proactive and commercially focused Senior Quantity Surveyor to join our commercial team. You will be responsible for managing costs, contracts, and financial performance across a range of rail, civil engineering, and energy projects. The role involves working closely with project delivery teams to ensure accurate cost forecasting, contractual compliance, and commercial reporting, helping to drive sustainable business growth.
Key responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day commercial activities for allocated projects from tender through to final account and commercial close-out.
- Prepare tenders, review contract documents, identify commercial risks, and support tender submissions and cost estimates as required.
- Review contract terms and ensure compliance with NEC, JCT, or other relevant contractual requirements.
- Prepare and submit client valuations, monthly applications, variations, change control documentation, early warnings, and compensation events in line with contract requirements. xgikmsk
- Meet regularly with Project Managers to review budgets, project costs, forecasts, cost performance, and commercial matters.
