We are looking for an enthusiastic and proactive Senior Site Engineer to join our growing delivery team. This is a key role in the on-site management, coordination, and delivery of civil engineering works, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency across a range of rail and civils projects from Huddersfield to Manchester. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Managers, Subcontractors and clients, ensuring efficient delivery of projects.
Key responsibilities
- Track monitoring & setting out for roads, drainage, foundations, earthworks, piling, earthworks and associated civil engineering works in both Rail & Civils environments.
- Ensuring all works are completed safely, accurately, and in accordance with project specifications and programme requirements, completing quality assurance checks throughout the works.
- Supervising and mentoring Site Engineers and junior engineering staff.
- Liaising with Site Managers, Project Managers, subcontractors, and clients to ensure projects are delivered efficiently.
- Producing and maintaining accurate site records, surveys, and as-built information.
- Ensuring SHEQ standards and company procedures are always adhered to.
- Supporting the successful delivery of projects to programme, quality, and budget targets.
Requirements
- Previous experience working as a Senior Site Engineer.
- Strong background in Rail infrastructure, groundworks, or civil engineering projects.
- A valid CSCS card, PTS card and a full UK driving licence.
- Ability to travel to sites across the M62 corridor from Leeds to Manchester.
