About the role

We are seeking an experienced HGV Class 1 Low Loader Driver to join our transport team based in Uxbridge.

The role involves the safe transportation of plant machinery and specialist equipment throughout the UK.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate HGV Class 1 low loader vehicles safely and professionally.
  • Transport plant and equipment nationwide.
  • Load, secure, and unload machinery using approved methods.
  • Carry out daily vehicle checks and report defects.
  • Complete transport documentation accurately.
  • Comply with driver hours, transport legislation, and company procedures.
  • HGV Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence.
  • Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card.
  • Previous low loader and plant transport experience.
  • Good understanding of load security and transport regulations.
  • Flexible approach to working hours.

This role requires a flexible approach to working hours in line with operational requirements.

Regular weekend working, early starts, late finishes, and occasional overnight stays will be required.
