Senior Project Manager
to lead the successful delivery of high-voltage electricity infrastructure projects across the UK Transmission and Distribution sector. Job summary This is a senior operational leadership role responsible for managing multiple projects within the TNO and DNO environment, including National Grid, NGED, UKPN, SP Energy Networks, SSEN, Northern Powergrid and Electricity Northwest frameworks. Responsibilities Take full accountability for the successful delivery of multiple electricity infrastructure projects valued from approximately £1m to £50m+ Provide leadership throughout the full project lifecycle Develop and maintain integrated delivery programmes with planning teams Ensure compliance with the Health and Safety at Work Act, CDM Regulations 2015, Electricity at Work Regulations and client-specific safety rules Administer NEC3/NEC4 Engineering and Construction Contracts Identify delivery risks during pre-construction and live construction Support tender reviews and pre-construction planning Coordinate subcontractors and specialist suppliers. Qualifications HNC/HND or Degree in Electrical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or related discipline SMSTS CSCS Black Managers Card (or equivalent) NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent health and safety qualification Extensive experience delivering HV or EHV electricity infrastructure projects in the UK, working on TNO and DNO networks Experience delivering projects from 11kV through to 400kV Strong knowledge of NEC3 and NEC4 contracts.
