Pod Talent are excited to be partnering with one of the fastest growing drinks businesses in the UK, looking for a technical manager to join their team for a 9‑month maternity cover. In this role you will be responsible for all end‑to‑end technical operations, leading all EPD and NDP activity, managing issues across complaints and quality, developing technical strategy, managing relationships with external parties such as manufacturers and 3PL partners, and overseeing artwork and legal compliance. This is a fantastic role if you enjoy being hands‑on and tackling any task that comes your way! You will also manage one direct report.

Key responsibilities:
  • Lead and maintain all KPIs across the product range for quality and complaints, ensuring issues are investigated and actioned.
  • Manage relationships with third‑party manufacturers and logistics partners, ensuring they meet KPIs and certification standards.
  • Maintain the QMS programme, ensuring all product specs are correct and customers are updated with any changes.
  • Coordinate the due diligence testing programme and support the project manager in all EPD and NPD queries.
  • Ensure food safety, legislation, and artwork compliance.
Experience we are looking for:
  • 5+ years in a similar role (quality assurance/technical) within a beverage or food environment.
  • HACCP Level 4 and a food science/technology related degree.
  • Proven end‑to‑end experience across auditing, third‑party relationship management, packaging artwork development.
  • Ideally experience with international regulations and labelling requirements.
  • Great communication skills, a pragmatic approach, and a confident individual who likes to take initiative.
