We are currently partnering with a growing D2C startup that is expanding its product range across multiple categories and is looking to hire a Supply Chain & Operations Manager to join the team remotely.
This role sits at the heart of the business, with ownership of day-to-day supply chain operations, including managing both dropshipping and in-house fulfilment models, sourcing high-quality products, and navigating complex new product development (NPD) cycles.
It’s a true player–coach role, requiring someone who is hands-on and comfortable executing day to day, while also stepping back to build scalable processes, improve ways of working, and support better commercial decision-making.
In this role, you will:
- Lead the full supply chain lifecycle, acting as the strategic owner and hands-on operator across sourcing, logistics, planning, and execution.
- Drive New Product Development from concept to launch, including supplier vetting, MOQ and COG negotiations, product testing, and complete product data documentation.
- Oversee outbound logistics across both dropshipping (DTC) and in-house fulfilment models, serving as the primary contact for manufacturers, freight partners, warehouses, and sourcing agents.
- Lead weekly demand and supply planning, optimise inventory levels, manage short shelf-life products, and mitigate slow-moving and obsolete stock to protect working capital.
- Define regulatory requirements, manage compliance documentation, resolve quality issues, and oversee daily operations including purchasing, order processing, inbound deliveries, returns, and warehouse management.
About you:
- End-to-end supply chain expertise, with deep strengths in sourcing, supplier management, and complex product portfolios.
- Proven experience in startup / scale-up / SME environments, comfortable operating at pace, managing ambiguity, and wearing multiple hats as an individual contributor.
- Strong international supplier exposure, particularly across US and China markets.
- Strategic and hands-on operator, able to balance execution with forward-thinking and work closely with CEO/COO-level stakeholders.
- Commercial, analytical, and influential communicator, with strong Excel/Google Sheets capability, a proactive problem-solving mindset, and the confidence to challenge and influence; people management experience is beneficial but not essential.
