Pod Talent are supporting a leading international consumer products business in the search for a Reverse Logistics (After Sales & Operations) Manager to join their Supply Chain team, offering the opportunity to take ownership of a critical operational function within a growing organisation known for its strong brands, collaborative culture, ongoing investment in innovation, and excellent track record of internal and international career progression.

The Opportunity

This is a highly visible leadership role with responsibility for the strategic, operational and financial performance of the UK & Ireland After Sales and Reverse Logistics function. Reporting into the Supply Chain leadership team, you'll lead a small team whilst taking ownership of after-sales operations, repair partner management, reverse logistics, compliance, sustainability initiatives and continuous improvement programmes. This is a genuine ownership role, offering the opportunity to shape the future direction of the function whilst delivering tangible improvements across service, cost and customer experience.

Key Responsibilities as Reverse Logistics (After Sales & Operations) Manager

  • Define and deliver the UK & Ireland After Sales and Reverse Logistics strategy.
  • Manage and develop external repair centres and service partner relationships.
  • Drive improvements across returns, repairs, asset recovery and product quality investigations.
  • Lead KPI performance, service improvements and cost optimisation initiatives.
  • Own departmental budgets and financial performance.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant UK & Ireland regulations, including WEEE and battery legislation.
  • Support wider sustainability and circular economy initiatives.
  • Partner closely with Supply Chain, Customer Service, Quality, Legal and Commercial teams.
  • Act as a key escalation point for product quality and customer-related issues.
  • Build strong relationships with both local and European stakeholders.

In addition, you'll ideally bring:

  • Experience managing external service providers or repair networks.
  • Strong understanding of reverse logistics and returns processes.
  • Knowledge of WEEE, sustainability, product compliance or related regulatory environments.
  • Experience managing budgets and operational KPIs.
  • Strong stakeholder management and influencing skills.
  • SAP experience.
  • A continuous improvement mindset with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
