An evolving consumer product business is looking for an experienced leader to take ownership of quality, compliance and testing across its global product portfolio. This is a senior, strategic hire within the product and operations organisation, with responsibility for driving a more integrated approach to product quality and regulatory compliance.

The Role

  • Own and evolve the end-to-end quality and compliance strategy
  • Build and lead a high-performing, multidisciplinary team
  • Partner closely with Product, Engineering and Supply Chain teams to embed quality from concept through to launch
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and safety standards across key markets
  • Lead improvements in testing frameworks, validation processes and risk management

What They’re Looking For

  • Strong background in product quality/compliance and ideally product testing within a consumer product environment
  • Experience operating at senior level with ability to develop strategy and set up new systems from scratch
  • Proven track record of building and leading teams internationally
  • Experience working cross-functionally across product, engineering and operations
  • Comfortable influencing senior stakeholders and driving change

This is a great opportunity for someone, perhaps coming from a larger organisation, who wants to put their mark on an organisation which is still evolving their compliance and quality function. With planned portfolio expansion this role will be key to the continued success of the organisation. Experience in all 3 areas – Quality, Compliance and Testing is preferred but particularly compliance and quality, especially in consumer durables and electronics is of real interest. Relocation support can be provided.
