Pod Talent is excited to be partnering with a fantastic food manufacturer with a global presence, who is looking for a quality and NPD coordinator to join their team in South West London on a hybrid working basis! This is a fantastic opportunity for graduates or junior level candidates to join an international business, where you can get exposure to the full product life cycle for NPD and EPD, from quality and compliance, testing, supplier communication, and artwork management.

Day to day responsibilities:

  • Supplier coordination: working with international 3rd party suppliers to review products, technical documents, artwork, and certifications, monitoring performance.
  • Testing: running the testing schedules for taste and sensory sessions, organising tests with external partners and creating trial, production, and market reports, feeding back to senior leadership.
  • QA support: working with global markets regarding compliance requirements and external regulatory agencies.

Requirements for the role:

  • Experience in a similar NPD or QA role in a food business, ideally working with 3rd party manufacturers (a placement year or internship is great!).
  • HACCP Level 2 and a relevant university degree.
  • Knowledge of product specification, labelling requirements, and stage-gate process.
  • A keen interest and enthusiasm for the food industry!
