Production Planner | Hybrid – 3 days in the office | Hertfordshire | £35,000-£45,000

We are excited to partner with a fast-growing, mission-driven food and nutrition brand that is looking for a Production Planner to join their amazing team in Hertfordshire.

In this role, you’ll be instrumental in maintaining 100% product availability across both Ecom and Retail channels, using best-in-class planning to balance availability and wastage, while supporting the business’s continued high-growth journey across D2C and retail.

In this role,

You will:

  • Manage the production schedule for your category, balancing product availability with minimising wastage across the UK and EU.
  • Build strong, collaborative relationships with manufacturing partners to ensure excellent service levels and operational efficiency.
  • Identify and resolve the root causes of operational issues to keep day-to-day performance running smoothly.
  • Work closely with sourcing and materials teams to make sure all ingredients and packaging are in place for production, while partnering with logistics to plan outbound finished goods effectively.
  • Drive continuous improvement by spotting and delivering opportunities for cost savings, increased capacity, and reduced waste across supply planning and execution.

About you:

  • 2-3+ years’ experience in supply chain planning within food & beverage, or broader consumer goods; candidates with relevant internships are also encouraged to apply.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and excellent communication skills.
  • Solid analytical skills, including proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
  • Highly organised with a strong focus on execution – nothing slips through the cracks under your watch.
