As Supply Chain Lead, you will be responsible for building and scaling the inventory and supply planning function, ensuring stock availability, operational efficiency, and supply chain resilience as the business continues its rapid growth.

You'll lead a team of planners, drive process improvements, develop scalable tools and systems, and work cross-functionally to support commercial growth while optimising inventory performance.

This is a fantastic time to join the business as it continues its rapid expansion across the UK and Europe.

You'll play a key role in supporting the growth of their product portfolio, ensuring the right products are in the right place at the right time while building a best-in-class supply chain function fit for the next stage of growth.

  • You will…
  • Build and scale the non-horticultural supply planning function, creating the strategy, processes, and frameworks needed to support continued business growth.
  • Lead inventory planning across multiple sites, balancing stock availability, storage constraints, waste reduction, and working capital objectives.
  • Develop scalable and automated inventory planning tools, leveraging AI and technology to improve efficiency and eliminate manual processes.
  • Establish KPI frameworks and reporting, driving the function from reactive firefighting to proactive inventory and risk management.
  • Lead, coach, and develop a team of stock planners, building capability and creating a high-performing, analytically driven function.
  • Support the successful launch of new product ranges by ensuring inventory, systems, and processes are in place to support increased SKU complexity.
  • Partner closely with Commercial, Procurement, Warehouse, and Operations teams to optimise stock levels, protect availability, and improve inventory health.
  • Support operational execution during peak periods and critical business events to ensure continuity of supply.
  • Manage the performance of third-party warehouse partners against agreed service levels and KPIs.
  • Develop supplier performance reporting and supplier segmentation strategies to improve operational performance and supply reliability.

About You

  • 4+ years experience in a Planning Manager, Inventory Manager, or similar Supply Chain leadership role, with previous people management experience.
